Downtown Disney MarketplaceThis Disney owned mall has a reputation as one of the pricier places to shop in Orlando - although if you wan to buy some branded treats for the kids, it is the best place to find them. With all the most famous characters and costumes available, and a number of themed restaurants to eat at - as well as the legendary Disney hospitality, it is worth spending half a day exploring the mall to pick up a few souvenirs. Orlando Premium OutletsJust off International Drive, you can find this gigantic mall that features around 110 designer outlets. Labels featured in the mall include Armani, Fossil, Kenneth Cole, and Ralph Lauren. Most of the shops are heavily discounted, and you can enjoy savings of around 75% against the regular prices. Mall at MillenniaMall at Millennia on Conroy Road is the best-known fashion mall in Orlando, and boasts many designer boutiques including Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Gucci, Tiffany, Burberry, and Cartier. The shopping mall boasts some stylish water features that perfectly complement the content of the shops, and is popular in the evenings. Worth a mention is the food court, one of the largest in the state, and a great place to enjoy a decent meal. Florida MallFlorida Mall is one of the largest shopping centres in Orlando and features more than 250 different stores and restaurants including Saks Fifth Avenue, J.C. Penney, Gap, and Footlocker. Burdines is one of the largest stores in Florida Mall, and is sells pretty much everything that you might want to buy. Festival BayYou could easily spend a whole day exploring Festival Bay on International Drive. As well as the many stores there are a couple of cinemas where any one who doesn't want to shop can relax and watch the latest movie. Some of the top names include Bass Pro Outdoor World a giant sporting goods shop that sells everything from fishing hooks to golf clubs and even speedboats; Ron Jon Surf Shop - a top destination for fashion; and Sheplers Western Wear - the number one cowboy outfitter in Orlando! Historic Downtown KissimmeeLying on the banks of Lake Toho in downtown Kissimmee, this mall is a great place to find local crafts and plenty of antiques and collectibles. There are around 70 stalls in the market, and a weekly farmers market to appeal to those who like their food farm fresh. Wal-MartThere are several Wal-Mart stores in and around Orlando, and they enjoy a great reputation as a place where you can buy pretty much anything. If you are renting a villa in Orlando, or staying in a self-catering apartment, Wal-Mart is the best place to stock up on everyday goods. Lake Buena Vista Factory StoresLake Buena Vista Factory Stores mall is right next to Walt Disney World, and one of the most popular malls in Orlando as a result. You can find a great mix of designer goods and jewellery in the shops, and many feature regular money off sales with discounts of around 70% on UK prices! Old Town, KissimmeeOld Town is located on Hwy 192 in Kissimmee. It is one of the premier malls for families to visit because there is plenty to do in addition to the shops. Every Friday and Saturday there is a classic car cruise that takes place in the car park, and the Ferris wheel that dominates the mall is just one of many rides that complement the 70 shops and offer something for the kids to enjoy while you shop 'til you drop. |
